Data we process

We collect and process personal data solely for the purpose of delivering the Rivaux service. This includes account information (email address, password hash) provided during signup, competitor URLs and monitoring preferences you configure, briefing delivery records (when emails were sent and opened), and billing data processed via Stripe on your behalf. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for data necessary to deliver the service, and on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security and fraud prevention.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Third-party processors

We use Stripe for payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy) and Postmark for transactional email delivery. Both processors are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf.

Cookie Notice

Rivaux uses cookies and local storage strictly for functional purposes — specifically, to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

No consent banner is presented because we only use cookies that are necessary for the service to function (exempt under ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3)). If this changes, we will update this notice and obtain consent where required.
